He was the son of Charles Donnels and Provance Bowling. He was born 12 Mar 1869 in Wise Co., VA, and died 01 Jul 1950 in Wise Co., VA. They are buried in White Oak Gap Cemetery, Dorchester, VA. They had the following children:
